Windows Vista email - I want to remove the 'speckled' wallpaper on my email (outgoing messages), but cannot see how to do it. Have looked for 'Stationery' in menu, but can't find. Help please!

Hello. Check the settings for your Outgoing Server. This includes the Port Number. Try Port 587 for SMTP.

Check the box that reads My Outgoing Server Requires Authentication. Choose Use same settings as my incoming server.

what about the wallpaper?

Look for your Security Email Firewall settings (Mcafee, Norton , etc ). Got to Email protection > Disable Incoming \ Outgoing mail protection. That should do it.

Please look for the message and try to send it as like as sms.If there is nothing try to sending by joining internet in your mobile device.

Window Vista also have Outlook Express.. please enter the full info for your email account..

On the E-mail Settings page, enter your email account information as follows:

Your Name
Enter your first and last name.
E-mail Address
Enter your email address.
Account Type
Select POP3.
Incoming mail server
Type for your incoming mail server.
Outgoing mail server (SMTP)
Type for your outgoing mail server.
User Name
Enter your email address again.
Password
Enter the password you created for your email account.

After this please check for "Test Account setting"

If everything is working fine, then remove the previous account

And let us know the error message if come up any.

It sounds like your SMTP settings are incorrect, if you are using a POP3 service, it can connect and download your email, but most ISP Mail SMTP servers dont allow outgoing mail from another ISP.

Example, I have a charter.net email account but I have wireless hometown as my ISP, so I have to set my POP3 settings to my charter.net account (incoming messages) and my SMTP settings to wireless hometown smtp server for (outgoing mail)

ATT uses POP and SMTP servers. The only address you need is mail.att.net (put it for both incoming and outgoing).

if you are using outlook, windows mail (vista), or outlook express, click tools > accounts, click on relevant email account, and then on the servers tab, change your outgoing mail server (SMTP) to your new ISP, eg. if you were on bigpond would look like "mail.bigpond.com"

once that is sorted you can send email, if you are unsure of what to put, reply with you ISP's name

Take a look at your SMTP mail settings. Settings --> Mail --> Accounts. Make sure that you have the proper outgoing (SMTP) server listed for that particular account.
