Hi. Begin by unplugging the TV and plugging a blow dryer or a lamp into that outlet to be sure you have power there. If you do, good. If you do not, reset the circuit breaker or replace the fuse.
Now regarding the f connector. The only way to repair one that broke off is to solder a new one into place. If you did that, good. If not, remove it again as it is probably pushing on another component and causing your other problem. Joe
