Question about Car Audio & Video
I have owned this car for 2 years and the Bose CD Changer sucks. The CDs would Jam once in a while, specially disk 4. I used to be able to push the Eject Button and the disk would eventually come out. Now, last week I had the same problem, except that it seems to be completely Jammed, and pressing the Eject button or trying to switch from Disk 4 to another Disk does not work anymore. I have tried every 3 days or so with the same outcome.
Is there a tool that I can use to remove the disks from inside the CD Changer?
Also - how do I remove the complete cover of the dash board so that I can access the CD-changer?
I need to do this myself because I don't want to go through the dealer for this, since the warranty is expired.
I HAVE A 2003 INFINITY FX 35, CD CHANGER STOP WORKING,WHEN I TURN THE CAR ON SOUNDS LIKE IT WANTS TO EJECT, IT WONT LOAD NEDER.CD STUCK,CD CHANGER WONT WORK, PLEASE WHAT SHOULD I DO,,HELPPPPPPP. HOW CAN I GET THE CD TO EJECT. OR LOAD...

SOURCE: CDs will not load
hi make sure that you cart is inserted all the way in, push the eject button why hitting the mag with the handle of ascrew driver. this may dislodge the jammed arm/lever. otherwise its down to your repair agent.

Open the eject door and at the lower right side of the cartridge their should be a small indent that looks like you could poke it with a medium point pen. That's a reset for the changer. If that does not work, you will need to remove the changer from the car, pull off the top, plug the cable back in and hit eject. look for the arm on the backside of the cartridge and give it a nudge. It may just be stuck. Loading mechanisms usually do not fail before the optics or other!. If you need further help, post a comment with any model #'s on the changer and I'll look for info and help some more. Hope this helps.
