i had sme prob remove the cd changer from dash disconect the wires plug them back in and that shoud fix it as for directions to removeing the changer the istructions are on the net.

pull the fuses one at a time to see witch circuit feeds the lights in question. if the fuse to lets say the windshield wipers feeds the lights in your dash, then you may need an electric expert to find the short circuit... if the lights die when you pull the fuse that is designated for the lights, then your lightswitch may be the root to the problem... happy hunting!
