Hi,i think the problem is possibly from the thermal fuse or the electrical motor of your device,i think you should run a troubleshoot on these parts and change the part that is affected to restore your unit back in a perfect working condition.

Thanks and take care

Ok, the pump is not being allowed to run due to a sensor somewhere being faulty. You need to check, your thermostat too, as usually, it is a sensor, or some malfunction, with the attachments. Unless spiked, or similar, the controller boards are usually OK. If you can you really need to get hold a service manual. You also need to test the actual Pump too, use a multimeter, and using OHMS, see if there is any resistance across the motor, there should be, if it is Zero, or Open Circuit, then your Motor is faulty. If the motor, uses Start/Run capacitors, they need to be checked too. As related I would, think, that a sensor has failed, and will not "Allow" the motor to operate as it still "Thinks" it hasn't received the signal to tell it what to do. You also really need a service repair manual too, if you can get one, search, Google, for the exact make and model of your unit,it will be very helpful.
Please be careful, if you still cannot figure it all out, please call a professional, and ask for a "Quote" for the repair.

I'll need to know what make--model--- age of this unit is and if it's electronically controlled to help you----your question is too vague do to the enormous variety types of heating systems----I'm going under the info provided that this is a boiler with domestic hot water coil----you say central heating so this throws me off---do you heat with hot water--hydronic-----or forced hot air----if hydronic---it sounds like your circulator in not functioning----a bunch of reasons circulator has failed---aquastat's "circulator control" has failed---thermostat has failed----broken wires----plugged lines----it goes on and on----this is the best I can do with this info sorry Happy Rabbit

I have a stanley brandon 80k oil range style cooker. The Hot water and oven work fine but the heating intermittently does not work when either set to come on via the timer or via pushing the override...

Sounds like you have a valve sticking or a safety switch causing it to shut down. Does this unit exhaust first then the burner ignites that might be your issue

Central heating not working but hot water is ok.

If when you turn power off you wait a while it is probably not the central system coming on. You have a triple aquastat that maintains a temperature level needed to provide hot water. but you are not getting the thermostat to operate the central heating. The thermostat is a switch that operates by temperature. if you have tried raising the thermostat and the system did nor kick in. try jumping the thermostat terminals in the aquastat . if that works then the problem is either in the thermostat or the wiring to the thermostat. also with a electrical tester." while the thermostat is jumped" test the c1 and c2 terminals to see if power is going to the circulator. If not then you need a new aquastat. if you have power and the pump is not moving water replace it.

Vaillant Boiler 628 suppling no Central Heating

If the zone valve was replaced and wired correctly then it is likely the zone controller if u have one. Manually open the valve and turn the tstat up if it begins to circulate then it is a controller issue. If you still get no heat (circulation) than it is the circulator pump or the pumps controller. Its best to test those individual parts with a multimeter to avoid buying parts not needed

On a back boiler central heating system my hot water works fine but cant get my central heating working i have changed the pump there are no motorised valves on the system i have checked the the expansion...

Hi,
In most cases problems with the circulator pump boil down to two problems.
The most common is air in the lines causing an air lock.
The next problem is that the pump gets stuck and is not running even though itmay be hot and seem to be running. In this cause the pump can sometimes betaken apart, cleaned and it will work, but usually it needs to be replaced.

Here is a tip that I wrote that will explain circulator pump problems in moredetail.

How should i face the circulating pump on a vertical return pipe

Sounds like you are working with hot water heat or hydronic heat.
There should be a direction of flow arrow on the back of the pump
body. If it's a return pipe, then the arrow should point down the line to
the boiler. If the motor ends upside down, then remove the mounting
bolts on the motor and turn it right side up.

Hope this helps.

Where is fuse located for Miele G641 Plus dishwasher and how to replace it?

hi,

there is no fuse on this model. first thing to do is check the incoming power at the socket. you can also find the electronics which control the unit all behind the door handle. Check there is power reaching the control electronics.
underneath the unit there are the components like the drain pump, circulation pump, hoses, pressure switch, relay for the heating, water sump etc which are all driven by the control electronics behind the door handle. you will find about 6-8 screws holding this front facia panel on. Remove this and firstly check all the connections are good. you may find a plug has just worked loose.
Hope this helps.

This does not sound like a thermostat problem. I would be looking for a zone valve or circulator pump problem.
