the diagrams come on hte back of the belt package from some suppliers and if not your local parts store should be able to print one off for you. I prefer Advance Auto Parts
It's too difficult to describe in words alone, and there are variables such as power steering and air conditioning which will alter the routing. You need photos and diagrams, but the ones which are available are copyright material so can't be posted on FixYa.
I respectfully suggest that you buy a Haynes Manual from either Amazon, eBay or your local car parts store. It's not expensive and will pay for itself with the very first repair.
any cracked belt should be replaced. the timing belt drives the cam shaft while the serpentine drives the power steering pump, alternator, water pump, air conditioner compressor, etc. if it breaks in the middle of nowhere, car will get hot real fast and become very hard to steer as you try and find somewhere to pull over. it will also be in the night and adverse weather. so replace it now when it is convenient.
1) Start with the alternator.
2) Forward to the smooth idler
3) Forward to power steering
4) Down to A/C compressor
5) Back to crank pulley
6) Forward around tensioner
7) Back glancing off of water pump
8) Back glancing off of ribbed idler
9) Up around alternator (where you started)
Good luck!
click on the following link, insert the year, make, model, and engine of the car. On the left, you will find a Belt Routing Diagram link. Be sure to choose the link that includes Air Conditioning. . Hope this helps. Best of luck with your repair.
