Question about Apple iPod touch
I got my ipod from my older sister, slightly cracked in the middle at the top of the screen. i can still use it, the crack just blocks out a bit of the screen, but is still accesible. It has recently started acting up, and now the screen has gon white and blurry/fuzzy from top to bottom. I tried logging in and it worked, then it locked itself and i accidently used up my password trys and I can't get back in! Please help!
Am soooo sorry 2 hear dat ya broke ya ipod.. but try dese it mite help ya access ya ipod..
But am not sure if its a screen lock or passcode lock..
If screen lock den basic reset n restart should work
but if its passcode den u must restore your iPod software from iTunes.
See “Updating and Restoring iPod Software”
Dont restore from backup if you have a passcode that you cant remeber.
You have to restore your ipod as a "new" device & then re-sync your content. Restoring from a backup will merely restore the lock.
But make sure before ya restore ya iPod u have a backup of d songs data n etc in d comp or els wer..
Hope it wors out 4 ya:)

Testimonial: "Thank you! I tried the Itunes thing and it worked! My screen came back!! It still has lines covering a little portion of the screen but its better than nothing!! Thank you!!"
You can get rid of the code by putting it in recovery mode (turn off, then hold menu button as you connect usb cord until usb cord symbold appears.) You can restore it in recovery mode. If you want it to be fully working again, your LCD needs to be replaced. If you want to do it yourself, the goodnews is, it's not too hard to open it. Here is an iPod Repair Guide that shows how to open an iPod. If you want somebody else to do it for you go to iPod Repair.
