Question about Nintendo DS Lite Console
I own a DS Lite and an R4 card (have had the R4 for over a year now and
it was working perfectly prior)-- the R4 card is a "R4 Upgrade
Revolution for DS" (the site provided on the R4 card is
www.R4i-SDHC.com), and the microSD card is a Sandisk one. Recently, my
R4 has been acting strangely. When I insert the card and then turn it
on, I get past the loading screen, but when on the game selection
screen, the screen freezes. I am not sure what is wrong. But the DS
itself is functioning normally, as I can play other game cartridges on
Can someone please tell me what's wrong and how I should go about fixing it? Please be detailed because this is my first R4 and I am not very good with tech!
It seems like you got the R4 SDHC, but not the original one I'm afraid. The original one is from www.r4sdhc.com, and it is a better supported product.
You could try reformatting your micro sd card and see if that's unstable, but if not I'd recommend getting a new R4. If you do suspect that you have unstable fake clone version you can get a genuine card there too. http://www.dscardworld.com I managed to find this site after I got burned at a few others.
Loved having my emails responded to because I had loads of questions, and they were quick to ship it. They test each card before sending them. US based support and shipping I believe.
Best of luck!

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Yes, it sounds like you'll need to get a new card. I've been using the Acekard 2i for over a year with zero problems.
If you're looking to get genuine cards for your ds (there are fakes out there), take a look here, http://www.dscardworld.com. I managed to find this site after I got burned at a few others.
