Question about Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate Edition
We have activation key for computer. Son caused computer to crash, so I've taken pc back to 'new' status. System won't accept the activation key. From memory, we had to try to swap some numbers/letters as they looked the same, but now system won't let me activate. How can I optain a new key cheaply/instal the old activation key? Any help or advice will be appreciated. I didn call the help number, but they want me to email them a picture (can't upload this because of software and will need to do this from another computer).
Format the hard drive and re-install. Do not swap any letters enter exactly as it is shown.
If that fails and your son is a student you can buy Windows 7 from www.theulitimatesteal.co.uk which is Microsoft's student site
