I changed my Belkin Play N600 to strictly an access point, and now i cant access the settings again

Disconnect the router from the modem and switch off power to the router and after a couple of minutes restore power again.

The router's user name will have remained the same. If you have changed the router's password you need to press the reset to restore the factory default.

If you need any kind of technical assistance you can contact support cell at http://www.vtechsquad.com

On belkin surf router clicked on set as access point. then i tried to change it but my computer cant get internet from the router so i cant access the belkin homepage. can u help

the only thing you need to do is reset your router to go the IP address original 192.168.2.1
because when you setup it as a access point the router change the Ip Address.

restore the router to factory default settings, please do the following:

1. Unplug the router's power supply
2. Press and hold the reset button on theback of the router
3. Keep the reset button depressed and, at the same time, plug the power supply back in
4. Keep the reset button depressed for another 10 seconds
5. Release the reset button

do this for 3 times and you will acces your router.

Good luck

Can not save IP

no way.
The only way I found is to change my own IP/mask to match Belkin's one, then use the web management to change the ip and mask for belkin. Then back to the previous ip/mask for my pc.

I accidentally changed my MAC address on my Belkin G Wireless Router Model: (F5D7234-4 v3)Now it doesn't even show up on my available networks. It doesn't connect to the internet at all. I don't know how...

There should be a small "reset" button on the Access Point.

1) Unplug power from your access point.
2) Use a pen and hold it. While holding it plugin back the power jack
3) count around 10 seconds and let go the pen.

Can not access ip address

Did you try to unplug the power for 30 seconds and plugging it back? you can also bring the router back to factory settings... usually that's accomplished by having the power cord removed, holding the reset button in WHILE plugging the power cord back into the router. Keep the reset button pushed in for atleast 30 seconds! Now you should be able to access the admin page. Keep in mind, any time you move an ethernet (network) cable from the cable modem to the device (pc/laptop/router), you have to unplug the power and plug back again 30 seconds later.

hello!
-- what is the exact model number of your access point and router?
-- what is the ip address of your access point and router?
-- what is the operating system of your computer?
-- Is your computer directly connected to the router?
-- Do you have a wireless computer? what is the model number of the wireless adapter

if you want to configure your access point with your router you may try the ff:
Step 1: Connect the Ethernet port of the access point to one of the Ethernet ports of the router
Step 2: Make sure the power adapter is plugged to an available power outlet
Step 3: Check if the corresponding LEDs on the access point are lit
Step 4: After connecting the devices together, configure the access point’s wireless settings
Step 5: Open the access point’s web-based setup page
Step 6: When the access point’s web-based setup page opens, change the SSID, Channel, and Wireless Security.
