Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Hp psc 2175 all in one carriage belt is broken and cannot find replacement

Hi,

Carriage belt is not a user replaceable part. Hence you cannot replace it by yourself. This unit should be repaired by an HP authorized technician. Please contact the nearest service center to repair it. But I think the repair cost is close to the price of a new printer.

Carriage belt is off, loose when on

Carriage belts are tensioned inside the machine on one of the idler pulleys. A belt that came off usually indicates there is a lubrication issue - one of the pulleys won't turn easy or the print head is binding on the slide shaft (Extremely common). The belt may have stretched (though unlikely) You may be able buy the belts from SDP-si.com in the US. This is just one of the sources. Try a printer repair shop.

DELL AIO 966 Carrier belt detached from printer

The belt goes through the back of the ink carrier.

There is a spring somewhere that keeps tension on the belt with the white roller.

The belt itself hooks into the frame of the machine.

The drive belt on the inkjet carriage came off it's wheels.

You'll have to disassemble the printer, remove the bottom of the printer and turn it upside down to where the belt and underside of the ink carriage (where ink comes out) is exposed. Take the closest loop of the belt and insert it around the plastic piece attached to the carriage [see image]. Then reassemble the printer. If you aren't good at taking things apart and re-assembling them you may have a hard time with this. Also, you may severely damage your printer if you break something mechanical or electronic in the process. Don't blame me.ff8bdfe.jpg

After adding ink cartridge printer stopped working

Parts for any ink jet printer are rare due to the low price of the machines. Technicians rarely repair them for the same reason. Who would want pay a technician $75.00 to repair a $100.00 printer? Consequently, parts generally not available beyond a few major sub-assemblies.

Replacement carriage belt for HP DesignJet 800

The part number is; C7769-60182 runs at around $70.00.
This component needs to be installed by a service technician. You can seriously damage this plotter if you remove the carriage ribbon connectors and do not install them properly. You will fry the pca board (a $1,100 mistake).

Since when this problem arised.

Since when the printer not picking up paper from tray or sheet feeder.

Check if the Cover are firmly closed, also look out for any piece of paper jammed the printer.

If it is ok, then check to move the carriage of cartridge/roller and clean it out if you can.

The spring attached to the tray also need to be checked, sometime putting paper, it get stuck.

Let me know if I can assist you further.
