Question about Fisher and Paykel GWL11 Top Load Washer
The cold water fill is very slow . I refered to the solutions for the similar problems to check the hot and cool water flow from faucet, clean the screen and filter and take out the rubber gasket in the water inlets. But after that nothing is improved. Does it mean the valves failed or what? If they are, how much for replace them or whole box as valves are sealed in the box.
Typically, this problem is caused by the failure of the electrically controlled mixing valve. I don't know your machine but on the majority of all washers, the H/C hoses actually connect to the body of the valve which is often held in place by one or two screws and has 2 or 3 quick-disconnect push-on connectors. Once the back panel is removed, you should be able to see the valve body right inside of where the hoses were connected.
