LG dryer doesn't dry clothes on one cycle. Lint collects around bottom of door rubber seal. Have noticed, the door is not closed tight. How to get door to stay closed tightly?

It sounds like you have a plugged up vent causing air to try to blow out around door instead of out vent. Also check door latch to see if anything is broken.

Icicles in the freezer and frost inside door of freezer. Normal for brand new refrigerator?

It sounds like the seal isn't closing completely. If there is any gap around the seal air is probably entering and the moisture is freezing. This sometimes happens when the doors are reversed. Try heating the gasket with a hair dryer if there are gaps in the gasket.

Refrigerator freezer stuck

I am guessing you are saying the freezer door is stuck closed and will not open? If this is the case you may need to pour some warm water around the seal until it is loose enough to open. After getting it open check the seal around the door, if there are places the seal is not completely sealed, then the seal needs replaced. Sometimes when the seal fails to seal properly moisture in the air seeps in and freezes next to the seal, eventually freezing the door to the box.

Door will not close completly

When you say "oven door will not close properly", do you mean that it closes but not tightly against the rubber seal on the oven cavity?

Or is it some other closing problem?

If it is the former, then it is a sign of the door hinge springs wearing out. The solution to this is to replace both hinges on the offending door.

Seal around door is not tight. there are no breaks in the seal but the door doesn't seal properly. you have to make sure that you close the door tightly and when you close the freezer door it causes the...

Is this unit new? Is it new to you? Has this problem just developed? I need the history to help you. If it is new, you have a year warranty. All units built today are as air tight as possible. When one door is opened and closed. The other door can pop open. To alleviate this issue the unit's front levelers must be adjusted to tilt the unit back slightly. The door or doors might still pop open but will close by themselves. If I can help you futher, let me know.

Light is still on and visible! when door is closed...gasket does not seal tightly. What should I do? Fridge is only 2 years old.

The seal will need to be fixed or replaced. The door switch does not shutoff until the door is closed completely. If it is twisted try a hair dryer to straighten it. If it is jamming on the hinge side vaseline might help. Possibly adjusting the door on the hinge may help. If you need a diagram or illustration enter your model # at www.appliancehelponline.com

Oven door will not shut tight at top

The door is not tight per say. The seal is hat determines if it is properly closed. Check to see if the seal is tight all the way around(use a strip of paper to check consistency). If it is not sealing the hinges are tweeked and need replacing.

Door not closing properly.

take door off and pack bottom hinge with washers. make sure hingebrackets on cabinet are tight. however, door hanging a bit should not really affect sealing. if seal is gapping, one solution is to warm with a hairdryer and pull outwards gently
