Question about BenQ FP91G+ 19" LCD Monitor

Small text and Icons

I have a Benq FP91G monitor. I have just had a new hard drive installed in my computer, upon its return the text and icons are small. We tried the resolution but that just distorted it. What do we do next?

Reset factory settings

Monitor has got no icons because it has no memory of itself. All the icons are stored in the hard disk itself which only CPU has. So, I think you can remove then by simply uninstalling the program from control panel> programs and features or simply by deleting the icon by it will not remove the whole software from your hard disk as icons on desktop are only shortcuts.

Hi My Benq FP91G flickers with the auto syncing message around once every 60s. sometimes the power button does not work, i have to keep pressing it before it will eventually switch on. Is this worth...

Its worth fixing...
Its just an issue with the board.
If it happens to be the LCD panel, rather not fix it since its gonna cost u a fortune.

Recently bought an e-machine monitor as well as a new e-mcahine hard drive. we cannot figure out how to se the screen so that we can see the icons on the screen as well as the start button. HELP

Ok, I have to make assumptions here. Your old monitor and old hard drive went out at the same time? If this is the case then the problem is that the new hard drive has nothing on it. The manufacturer should have given you or sold you a set of recovery CD's. You'll need these to replace the NTFS partition and the operating system. Good luck

Hi, my sons new benq screen , after exit a game has gone huge and i cant change it, its so big the icons have gone.

I assume this is on a PC???

If so, the game likely trashed the video driver.

Restart the PC in safe mode and re-install the video driver (don't play that (probabaly ancient) game any more on that PC

It's seems your graphic card is defective. Try another monitor, if it still has the same problems... Then replaced a new graphic card. If it not, make sure all the cables are seccured tight or changed a new cables. Have fun!
