Dropped my PSP and screen won't come on and power won't turn off. No sound or picture. Just blank screen and green power light.

sounds like a classic psp bricking...sort of

You most likely bricked it from an update. Depending on your psp's model you can diy a solution or your stuck with sending into Sony.

have you tryed to put the main power cord in and see if it will boot as normal ?

some people have modded psp and there battery could be a parnora battery need for modding psp that will give you the green power light and blank screen
also take out any memery stick
and try

I guess you have custom firmware. If so, you can use a pandora battery to solve the problem. If you do not know how to make a pandora battery or if this doesn't work send me an email or add me on [email protected]. But pandora is most likely to be the solution. I had the same kinna problem but I was updating it thats the only difference. The green light is on and the screen was blank and then the light turned off. So I used a Pandora Battery and it fixed. :P

if you barly bought it then return it and get a new one because it was dropped when they ship it 

u must have dropped it.youll have to get it checked out

Well if that`s true that if a handheld is broken when dropped then I shouldn`t have any working handhelds. Well, if you still have the companies number you should call Sony and ask them.

Did you download any firmware? What version of updates are you on? Its possible that your PSP is bricked. Which basically means that you hit a one out of one-hundred chance of you PSP being locked up and useless for that matter.

remove the battery from the psp and put back in again as sometimes the power light freezes on, but isnt actually powering the psp.
