Hello. If your washer spins but doesn't pump the water out, the drain line is probably clogged. In many washers, a small sock or other piece of clothing can get between the clothes tub and the outer tub that holds the water. If the clothing gets between the tubs, it may then get into the drain hose that's attached to the pump--or even into the pump itself. If it's in the pump, you need to remove the hoses from the pump and pull the item out. To remove the sock from the outer tub port, open the washer's main access panel and remove the large-diameter rubber hose that connects the pump to the bottom of the outer tub. Then, using needle-nose pliers, try to grab and remove the clothing through the port. Sometimes you can't remove the stuck clothing from below. Then you have to remove the agitator, top of the outer drum shield, and inner clothes tub. This isn't easy to do--and you may need special tools--so you might be happier getting a qualified appliance repair technician to do the job. If the drain line isn't plugged, the problem may be with your pump. Even if the pump appears to be turning, the internal impeller may be broken. If so, you need to replace the pump.

My windshield washer pump does not work ,pumps are working ,and still they do not work,is the fuse # 6 ?, what else could it be

your question is confusing. you say the pump does not work then you say the pumps are working. If the pumps are working then check the washer hose for being plugged as well as the spray nozzles.

Is there different fuses for the front and rear.window wash pumps

check to see if you have power to pump with a 12v tester,if so, it may be the connection to the pump gone bad .you can always put the test light on the fuse end and have someone make the pump work to see if that fuse controls both pumps. make sure 12v tester is ground well .Also you may want to take the hose off the end of the pump that goes to the line to the windshield and see if water comes out the pump

My 912-005 sump pump will not kick on. when plugged in it hums like it wants to work. We tool the cover off as i expected top see a float but we cant see it. Have never dealt with a pump before. ...

When a pump hums instead of working, there are two possible things.
1) Something stuck inside pump impeller. See if there is rust or debris. Move the impeller and see if it rotates freely. Unplug electrical device before working on it.
2) The pump winding has gone bad and pump will never work again.

Most pumps like this work on pressure drop. When the floats open the pump loses resistance pressure and resumes pumping until it feels pressure again.
