Hi guy turn it on then take the end of the lense and gently pull and twist you may hear it click but dont force it. then turn off and on again this may solve your problem

Camera turns off when taking picture


Try changing the battery brand and see if this helps..I seem to have the same issue with my camera with certain battery brands..Solved my problem by switching brands..

Camera won't turn on to take pictures~


This is a common problem related to batteries. Use 2100mA or higer batteries fully charge batteries. This problem occurs when you use alkaline batteries or faulty NiMH batteries. To solve the problem try with new fully charged NiMH batteries.

Go to camera Menu and select Initialize, OK.
Camera will turn on itself, if problem still exist, tap camera gently and turn On again to solve lens access problem.
Memory stick error can be solved by formatting it through Format menu in camera. Use another memory stick in camera to make sure that camera is OK.

Screen may turn pink or blurry - intermittent


it is because your camera circuit is gone bad, so kindly check with the dealer for the repair on your board, it is very simple problem, it can be solved easily. this will surely solve your problem.,plz do rate me

Camera menu and all features function except it wont save picture


The problem is inthe two sections.
1) Bad CCD . replacement will solv the problem.
2) Thin film ribbion cable carrying signal to the shutter / apparture control gets damaged in regular use. replacement of the same will solve the problem. Have to take the help of a repairer.

I had this problem yesterday and solved it just now by consulting the Sony handbook available on the Sony US website (p18). You (and I) inadvertently turned the display brightness down to zero.

To solve - with the camera in 'still' recording mode, press the up arrow "DISP" on the bottom 4 directional round pointer. Your screen will light up and you will feel like a proper *** as I did.

Why won't my digital camera take a picture?


One of the following steps should solve the problem: Press the shutter button all the way down. Make sure that the camera is not in Favorites mode. Turn the camera off and then on again. Insert a new or charged battery. Wait until the AF/AE indicator turns green before attempting to take another picture. Transfer pictures to the computer, delete pictures, change the image storage location, or insert another memory card.
