How should we clean our TV screen from finger prints?

To clean your TV correctly, follow these steps:
  1. Turn the LED TV off, let it cool for a few minutes, and then unplug the TV.
  2. Clean the frame of your LED TV with a microfiber cleaning cloth.
  3. To clean the screen, first try wiping gently with the microfiber cleaning cloth. If that does not work, spray luke-warm water directly onto the microfiber cleaning cloth. Never spray anything directly onto your TV screen.
  4. Wipe the screen with the microfiber cleaning cloth as gently as possible. LED TV screens are fragile and can be damaged if you press too hard.
  5. Let the screen dry completely before you plug the TV back in.

How do I clean my flat-screen monitor?

<p>You don't have to turn the monitor off before cleaning it, but this will help you see the smudges and smears. If your screen is merely dusty, you can wipe gently with a soft, cotton cloth or try a can of compressed air. But if your screen is downright grungy, you might have to resort to some tougher tactics.<br /> <p> <br /> <p>Though some people recommend using Windex, ethyl alcohol and ammonia-based cleaners can yellow your flat-screen or laptop monitor over time, so it is best to avoid such products. You can find an array of commercial products specifically designed to clean LCD screens, but you may prefer to just head to your kitchen and mix up your own solution. Plain old water can do the trick, or you can concoct a solution of vinegar and water or isopropyl alcohol and water.<br /> <p> <br /> <p>Always use a soft cotton cloth, rather than a rag or paper towel to wipe the screen. Some people recommend special electrostatic cloths, like those used to clean eyeglasses treated with anti-glare finish, or even dryer sheets. Apply the cleaning solution to your cloth rather than directly to the screen and wipe in one direction -- from the top of the screen to the bottom.<br /> <p> <br /> <p>One final word of warning, never touch or press on your LCD screen with your fingers as this can cause the pixels to burn out.<br />

How do I clean the TV screen. I wiped off some dust and I have finger prints on screen. How do I remove them.

This is something i've learned doing part time IT work, i'd say get some rubbing alcohol and water mixed together, and use a cotton ball or something soft like toilet paper to wipe away the finger prints. Hope it helps you out

Try cleaning rollers and everything you can get to on paper path. Use hand wipes, or baby wipes, etc

It sounds like the path needs cleaning.

The top portion of the text in each line is not printing. I have cleaned the ink cartridge, but the problem persists.

1. Shake ink cartriage and Re-clean the print head, dripping alcohol to drain off and wipe clean w/tissue (do not touch with fingers).
2. Apply slight suction to print head to clear clogged ink (if by mouth, spit out ink and water rinse etc.).
3. Re-clean per step 1
4. Insert ink cartiriage, seating it all the way into holder.
5. Run a "cleaner sheet" through printer to clean al printing parts
("cleaner sheets" are available at office supply stores).
6. Printer should print all parts of letters.

The best way is to buy a special microfibre cleaning cloth for LCD monitors. Very often the same cloths are used to clean sunglasses so you may already have one of those. Do not use any cleaning liquid. Rub the screen very GENTLY with the cloth until the prints are gone. You can rub fast but remember not to press too hard or you can damage your monitor.

Lexmark printer model x1185

I have the same model, and i love it. I know this sounds dumb, but if this is your first refil, did you remove the plastic orange protection tape on cartridge. I know people who forget to do this. If this does not apply....I think your printheads may be clogged with built up ink. You need to manually clean the printhead for colour ink. Use proper cleaning solution and cotton buds, remove colour cartridge, and lay it sideways on paper towel to avoid ink spillage. Now clean down where cartridge sits, until no colour comes out anymore, clean where the cartridge gold part touches the back, but not with solution but with an unscented baby wipe! Now, let it air dry, pick up cartridge careful not to put you fingers on any gold part as oils in our fingers contaminate it. fold a baby wipe in a square, and place ink face on cartridge firmly on it for a few moments. Move it away and you should have 3 little joined boxes of each colour in a neat vertical line. Clear and bright colour, This says cartridge is fine. Replace it as usual. Remeber to reset your ink levels and run alignment if you like. Print a test page to see if it is normal now.

Canon s450 printer

New printer? Or have you changed them before? Make doubly sure all tape is off the new cartridge and that you did not accidentally touch the gold surface of cartridge (can result in read errors). Wipe it very softly with a non perfumed baby wipe, yes! a baby wipe! I have had good success this way. Also do a clean with the printers own cleaning system and print a test page after each clean or step. Run virus checks and spyware checks on pc just in case. Does it give any other error messages? You may have a badly clogged printhead (so notorious this range of canons for clogs) use proper cleaning solution and cotton buds and thoroughly clean where cartrigde goes (printhead) do not be afraid, repeat until no residue comes away. Try printing now.
