Set up in the same spot as last year but this time the water seems to be making the pool oval shape. It seems that it could over flow and it is only half full or less. the top ring is inflated, should i keep filling and see what happen or what?

If your bottom is streched out well It should fill quite even. I would continue to fill and see.

We have the Intex Saltwater system for 2 years now. It's been working great, but last week it started to beep and gives a code 90 Water is flowing through like it always has been previous years and...

Anything that restricts the water flow can cause this problem. The first thing I would do is clean the filter and any screens, etc. If code 90 still shows up I would check the sensor. Another poster said they were able to take it apart and make sure it works well. They said theirs was a little bent and they were able to straighten it. When they put it back together it worked. I hope this helps.

We have a Krystal Clear Saltwater System Model CS8110. We are first time pool buyers. We set up the pool last week and despite several "boosts" the chlorine level is very low. The pool store...

You should always follow the instructions on the manual .. I have a 18X33X4 oval and had to start with over 350 lbs of salt and ran the pump without the chlorinator for 24 hours to properly disolve the salt. Then, I started with 12 hrs pump cycle with 10 hrs of chlorination in between the 12 hrs. Keep checking the chlorine level and adjust time from there. Currently at temperatures of 85 to 100, I run the system at 10 hrs pump with 8 hrs chrlorinator and water is Crystal Clear... In the 2 years with the intex system, I have not added any chemicals to my pool. I once had an issue when the water level went low while I was on vacation, when I came back, the chrolinator had turned off due to low flow and my pool water was green.. As soon as I re-started the cycle, a few days later, Crystal Clear again... NO CHEMICALS OR SHOCK added.... Hope this helps....

Hi, we have a Zodiac pool creepy crawly pool cleaner which seems to work for a while, then get stuck in the one spot and not move in our inground pool.

With these pool cleaners, getting stuck in one spot is most likely the result of a waterflow problem. Check your water flow valve and make sure that it is adjusted correctly. make sure that you don't have any blockage that would prevent movement and cause the cleaner to stick in one place. This might seem like common sense, but make sure that you have enough hose to reach the entire pool. Many times, when this occurs, the cleaner cannot reach one part of the pool. make sure that your hose balance is correct also.

I have ahayward H1001D1 above ground pool heater running on nat gas has worked for 3 seasons with no problems last week heater started to make banging sound as if it was rapid cycling ichanged filter...

If your external by-pass is closed almost all the way then it will be your internal by-pass. You find this assembly inside the water manifold at the side of the heater. Part should be about 70-80 bucks.
It is suppose to regulate the water flow so it has time to heat but not boil. Yours is probally missing the control disc and letting all the water flow past the heater so the water in the heater is boiling and that is the banging you hear. Good luck.

My sand filter is showing 0 pressure on the pressure gauge, yet I still have great flow? It is showing no pressure on any of the settings--It was working just fine last year.

If flow is good, one of two things. Unscrew gauge and see if hole is plugged. With gauge out, momentarily turn pool on and make sure water squirts out of hole. If no, hole is plugged, If yes, bad gauge.

Inground pool liner

need to drain the pool pull up the trim see if you can stretch the liner back into position (works best on hot sunny day doesnt work at all in cold weather). Alot of pools have a u shaped groove the liner goes into then plastic tubing is hammered into the groove (a similar application is screens for windows and the spline that holds the screen in place). I also use a shopvac to "pull a vacuum" on the liner to help pull into sides of pool before filling. If your liner is more than a few years old or was trimmed too short you are probably out of luck

When setting the pump to pull only from the skimmer on my in-ground pool, it doesn't **** enough water to keep the the suction pump full of water. I have to set it on main drain or ''skimmer & main...

There may be a partial blockage in the skimmer plumbing. If you lift out the basket, you may be able to see something there. If not, try a hose and flushing the lines.

Make sure the wear door is functioning properly also.

If this is not the issue, make sure that you have all the valves open so there is no restriction of flow.
