Question about HP DeskJet F380 All-In-One Printer
Cannot connect my printer
The most frequent problem with a printer is a problem with the USB cable. Try a new USB cable (note the printer didn't ship with one. It is a standard A/B male/male cable available at any store with computer accessories). Next try plugging into a different port. Check if a known working device can be seen by the computer. Check if the USB ports are disabled for security or power savings (in the Device Manager for Windows for the first, Advanced power savings from the page to set the Screen Saver for the second).
Additional documents and drivers are here: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/product?lc=en&dlc=&cc=us&product=1128296
I hope this helps.
(I'm assuming no error messages on the printer and that the power is good.)
