What is the proper spark plug gap setting for a 2002 Kia Rio

What is the proper gap setting for a 2002 Kia Rio I can't find owners manual and i have 2 friends with 2 different settings

Hello mfriesner71; my name is Roger and I will answer for you. The correct plug gap is 0.027 to 0.031.in. Any gap between these will work fine. Just make sure they all gap the same. It depends on the plug that you use. Some are Pre-Gapped.

After changing my spark plugs my car is now spurtting...

did you properly gap the spark plugs?? Gap the plugs properly!! If the problem still exist, check all plug wires for looseness or breakage and replace all (recommended). These issues will cause your vehicle to misfire/sputter!!
