Strange files and folders have appeared on my kingston 1gb drive with nonsense names i can't delete them nor save any files to the disk. I haven't used the drive on any other computer and I've checked it for viruses using Mcafee and Nortons - all clear. What do I do?

I have a kingston DT10 pendrive. When you plug in the pendrive to any computer, it say the pendrive needs to format. When you click format, then it say that windows cannot format the disk. I've try large number of software such as HD Guru Low level format but it's also useless. The problems start when a virus attacking my pendrive then suddenly hidding all my files. It's not a big deal to me to open it using up level button on the winrar system. But, the problem starts when im deleting a strange folder named 3hkgj..... something like that.
Problem: Folders / files in USB flash drive got named with weird strange characters & those folder / files cannot be copied or deleted.
Reason: Virus infected
Solution: 1. Click on "Computer" 2. Right click on the drive that contains USB flash drive 3. Select "properties" 4. Click on "Tools" 5. Click on "Check Now" 6. Check disc options will appear on screen, put a tick mark in the box in front of Automatically fix file system errors 7. Tick mark in the box in front of Scan for & attempt recovery of bad sectors is not necessary. 8. Click on "Start" 9. Upon finishing of this task, screen will show message "Your device disc was successfully scanned" and bla bla. Close it. 10. After this process the undeletable folder in USB flash drive can be deleted by selecting it & deleting it. The contents of affected folders files cannot be recovered.

Try to right click your pen drive then copy and paste it on your My Documents folder. When done, follow these steps: 1. Go to start menu 2. Click Run and type cmd ==A command prompt shows.== 3. Type cd\ 4. Type format x: 5. Press Enter key 6. When done type exit
Note: Copy all the files you have transferred on your My Documents folder and paste files again to your pen drive. You can now do whatever you want on your pen drive.
