Hi,

Can you provide more information about this issue.

1. Is the wireless card enabled on your laptop ?

I had to restore my dell inspirion E1505, and it says i have no wireless network, how do i turn this worless network back on?

Hi,
You need to check for the wireless switch located on your laptop. Once the wireless switch is on, you'll be able to see networks in range and you will be able to connect to your network wireless.
Good Luck!

I have a Dell Inspiron E1505 ? the wireless had been working. Now,when I view available networks, none of them show up (and the signal graphs fromt he networks aren?t showing). I am getting the WiFi signal...

You should always install the latest drivers, what so ever is the case.
But remember to install the original drivers.
Follow this link and select your models. Download and install the new drivers, but remember to uninstall the old ones first.
Hope this helps.
Please feel free to ask me any further.

Cannot connect to wireless networks, where is wireless switch

what laptop do you have?
some do not have switches.
are you fully sure that your particular machine contains a card.
If you are sure, open start then go to "Connect To", then select "Wireless Network Connections." If you network card is disabled, this action should enable it, as long as there is no switch. Once enabled, the window should pop up and allow you to select an available found wireless network.

I have an inspiron E1505 and i am trying to connect to my network to get rid of viruses. I am trying to connect using Intel ProSet/Wireless, but I am still not able to connect. Any suggestions?

Hi
Need to know when you try to search the network in the intel proset , does it find the network name or not . ie. does it see your wireless connection.

Alternatively you can use the following link for troubleshooting

My labtop keeps on disconnecting from the internet it says something like unable to connect the preffered wireless network and I dont have any idea why.

Open "Networks".
Click "View Available Networks".
Click your preferred wireless network.
Click "Disconnect", to prevent your computer, in the future, from connecting to that non-functional network.
Choose a different network.
Click "Connect".

My Dell Inspiron E1505's wireless switch is off.

This happened to me using a Dell Inspiron laptop. The wireless switch was disabled and the answer was supposed to use both the blue Fn and regular F2 function key to enable wireless connection. I tried Fn and F2 together and it did not work. I tried just F2 alone and it worked.
