Based off what you have described your Frigidaire freezer is displaying an error code of 36 hours. Normally it will display that once power has been restored, it is indicating that the freezer has been without power for 36 hours. Hold the "alarm reset" for 3 seconds and that should help clear out the code. I hope this is helpful. -Matt

Based off the information you have provided your Frigidaire freezer is displaying an error code "E8". An "E8" error code typically stands for a shorted thermistor this could be a possible miscommunication with the wiring harness, control board, or thermistor. Since it could be anyone of these underlying issues I would suggest contacting a professional technician since they have the appropriate tools to pinpoint the parts needed for repair.
