Realtek sucks - big time!
What you do is re-install windows then install your CHIPSET drivers fisrst then reboot. then install you CORRECT sopund drivers and it should work

1. Re-Install the Drivers of the sound card with carefull attention.
2. Restart the system.

I guess that there a problem in the audio port of your motherboard. However i would like tp know the model of your motherboard not the chipset. if you can provide me the model number of the board i will serach the correct driver of your sound card. melnavz
