Quick way to defrost a freezer. Also those arosol can to spray on the ice for a quick melt. Can that damage anything.
Good day,
The aerosols help. But, hurry up with any type of refrigeration equipment is many times a quick way to disaster.
Go slow and thorough. A little lost food is far better than a messed up machine.
Patience is your friend here.
Locate your freezer's drain plugs (both interior and exterior), and pull them out. If the exterior drain is threaded, attach a garden hose, and divert the water to a large bucket, a floor drain or the outdoors. If it isn't, set up a bunch of old towels on the floor to absorb the water as the ice melts.- Internet research and experience.
