Question about Husqvarna Viking 1

2 Answers

I just received a Husqvarna Viking Constitution 200 with no manual. I believe I am threading it improperly, even though I am able to make it sew. Where can I find a manual or how do I thread it properly?

I know it has now been a long time since you wrote this, but I have one of these machines and I have a manual. I would be happy to copy it for you and mail it to you if you give me an address. You can send it to me at deborah52557@hotmail.com

Husqvarna H class600

Take an example of the problem to a Viking store and talk with someone knowledgeable about embroidery. Generally, a "birds nest" under the fabric relates to improper upper thread tension but the additional variables of type of thread, type of fabric, type of backing, and needle size and type can all play a part.

I need a sewing guide, basic , starting with threading

Hi! You can find manuals for Husqvarna Viking sewing machines at http://sewingpartsonline.com/viking-sewing-machine-instruction-manuals.aspx. Another place to look for an instruction manual for your machine is http://www.sewconsult.com/husqvarna/husqvarna_instruction_manuals.htm. I didn't find anything about replacement instruction manuals on Husqvarna Viking's website--BUT they have a neat feature called The Sewing Room that offers how-to-sew instructions. (http://www.husqvarnaviking.com/us/3368.htm)

You can also take a look at my Hints and Tips about threading your machine.

Let me know if this helps!

Happy Sewing!

Huskylock 936 error code

This will also occur if the "needles" and "loopers" lock up as though threads are tangled and binding the machine. If needles and loopers move freely when manually turning the handwheel counter clockwise, you probably need to take it to an authorized husqvarna viking dealer for service. You can locate a dealer near you by visiting the husqvarna viking website and clicking on the Dealer link on the left-hand side of the page - http://www.husqvarnaviking.com

Good luck.

How Need to know how to thread the machine and how

They have many different models so threading and winding the bobbin can vary due to your model. I would recommend calling them at: 1-800-474-6437 and see if they can get you a photo copy of your original owners manual.

Thread bunching up around bobbin

If you do not have a user guide, you might want to find one. Try ebay or have an authorized Husqvarna Viking dealer order you one. In fact I would find your nearest authorized Husqvarnia Viking dealer and visit them with you machine. They should be able to help you and usually are very helpful even if you didn't buy the machine from them. If they determine it is correctly threaded and the bobbin is ok, have it serviced by an authorized Husqvarna Viking dealer or have them send it to Husqvarna Viking (SVP) Technical Service Dept in Tennessee for service. The machine should give you years of good performance.

Use only genuine Husqvarna Viking bobbins.

To find an authorized dealer near you, check the Husqvarna Viking website - http://www.husqvarnaviking.com/us

Good luck.
