Internet connection I have a d-link dsl-g604t adsl2 router, which I don't have a problem with connecting to the internet. Unfortunately I have also purchased a usb wireless adapter to connect my other pc to the router and having trouble keeping a solid connection. It connects for a second then drops but my connection says it a solid connection but my web browser says different.

My web browser says that page is unavailable. Just as if I I'm trying to view a page without internet connection. I have checked my ip addresses for each device and I've even given static ip addresses to them, unfortunately it doesn't work either way. HELP?

How to change the contection / wpa2 password on a D-Link dsl-g604t

1. Navigate to router's web interface
2. Login, click to Wireless button
3. Select WPA radio button as Security
4. Select Pre-Shared Key radio button and type some password to PSK String field
5. Click Apply button
6. To save and reboot the Router, click on the Tools directory tab and then click the System button. In the System
Settings window, click the Save and Reboot button under Save Settings and Reboot the System

DSL-G604T doesn't have built in MAC access list and may hang on heavy usage. To optimize it for stable and safe connection use Router Commander program from http://www.routercommander.com, with it this router shows very good performance and stable internet connection.

Loss of connection to internet

Connecting the router to a power surge protector helps avoid this problem. You may also try updating the firmware of the router.

Make sure that Access Point enabled:

1. Navigate to router's web interface
2. Login, click to Wireless button
3. Make sure that Enable AP check box is checked
4. Click Apply button
5. To save and reboot the Router, click on the Tools directory tab and then click the System button. In the System

Can't connect to internet with g604t

Power down the computer.
Power off the router. Wait for 2 minutes.
Power on the router.
Reset the router. Wait 1 minute.
Restart the computer.
Try connecting again.
