Question about Electronics - Others
On one of our laptops we are trying to connect a Transcend 2gb Pen drive. The laptop runs Windows Vista Business. Its asking for the driver but as per Transcend no driver is required for Vista. Same pen drive works on other PCs which have Vista installed. Please suggest a solution.
i have a transcend pen drive 2 GB which runs perfectly on windows XP on other computer but it is not recognised by Computer. My Motherboard is Asus and Operating system is Windows XP. Initially it used to show a message "One of the USB driver sttached to this computer has malfunctioned, windows does not requesnized it". How can I do solve the problem. My email : email@example.com

Since you are using Vista, you may want to check for an update/patch from the laptop manufacturer. This is a common issue with Vista's USB ports. Microsoft has acknowledge the issues and has posted a fix here and here.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards.
Thank you for using FixYa.
