Sometimes u can repair that leak with electrical tape. is your machine leaking where the hose comes out of the unit? they only sell the drain hose with the wiring loom attached. better to repair than dismantel unit. please reply and i will help u whatever u decide, good luck.

Testimonial: "Leak is where hose comes out of machine and my attempt to seal with tape was only partly successful. Have ordered new hose ($75) and repair man will install ($45). I will make sure new hose is installed correctly so does not rub a hole. Thank you very much for your helpful reply."

Where can we get a part to plug the hole so the water will drain out the hose? The hole is not round so it makes it more difficult to plug. HDN 655E 65 pints Thank you. Bob

Bob, you don't need to plug the hole for the water to drain out the hose. Once you remove the hose connection cap and connect a hose, no longer than 5 feet (a garden hose will work), the water will drain from the hose and not into the bucket. That is, unless the drain tube is clogged. In which case, an 18" long, plastic, Zip Tie, appropriately sized to fit in the hole, works well to unclog it.

Hope this helped you. Please let me know. Thanks.

How to troubleshoot water leaks

Water leaks in a washer are often difficult to trace. There are many possibilities to look for. The problem could be a loose connection, a broken hose, a cracked component, or a defective seal. It could also be a hole in the tub. If a hole in the tub is the problem, it's usually best to replace the washer.

Most leaks can be eliminated by tightening water connections and replacing deteriorated components. To stop a leak:

-
Check the lid seal. If faulty, replace with a new gasket.

- Check the hoses at faucet connections. Tighten connections or replace hoses.

- Check the hoses at water valve connections. Tighten connections or replace hoses.

- Check the drain hoses. Tighten connections or replace hoses.

- Check the inlet nozzles. Tighten connections or replace nozzles.

- Check the splash guard. Tighten connections or replace.

- Check any plastic valve. Tighten connections or replace.

- Check the outlet hose to drain. Tighten connections or replace hose.

- Check the water pump, using the procedures that follow.

How do you replace the water pump bypass hose on a 2001 dodge durango 5.9ltr?

I,m assuming you mean the metal part of the bypass hose. Looking at water pump drivers side is a small metal tube hooked to heater hose. The tube is bolted through a alum bracket. Remove bolt and pull tube out. May need to spray with penetrating oil as these corrode, and are stubborn Make sure vehicle is not hot. No need to drain coolant as it will come out of bypass hole. have drain bucket ready. Do not reuse o- ring as it will leak.

Water seems to come inside the car front passenger side when air conditioner is on? What cause this

This is condensation from the coil, that would be the water from the air your air conditioner removes as it cools. There is a small drain or weep hole to allow this to drain, this appears to be plugged. With your car safley up see if you can locate the drainage tube, try inserting a small wire up into to clear the obstruction.
I hope this may have helped,
Tom

Continuous drainage

Take out the drain pan and look in left hand top of the compartment and you will see a drain hole for the pan.Plug the drain hole with a small rubber plug, I used an electrical wire nut wrapped with tape and it worked fine.replace the pan and the water will run out the back. A 3/4" garden hose should work for the drain hole.

Water left in bottom dishwasher and after resetting to wash will not start unless the water is drained out manually

GE Dishwashers are equipped with an anti-syphon ball that generally dislodges itself and goes into the drain line. To remove it, you'll have to pull it out of it's hole. Turn the supply off and open the kick plate. Remove the supply line from the dishwasher and the drain line free from the air gap. Remove the two screws that hold it to the counter top and pull it out. Remove the lower rack and spray arm. To remove the spary arm you have a 1/4 inch head screw to undo, and on the back of the spary arm is a plastic clip. Use a small screwdriver to depress from the spray arm and pull the spray arm off. There are then two 1/4 inch screws that hold the food screen on and remove the basket. Now, underneath the dishwasher is a large manilla-colored hose with a large hose clamp that must be loosened. Pull this loose and a bit of water as well as the ball will come out. Reattach and drop the ball into the left hole under the basket. Reconnect everything and slide the dishwasher back in. Reinstall drain hose and supply line. Turn on supply. Run and look for leaks.

Brand new whirlpool cabrio began leaking

Sounds like you may have a small hole or a failure in a seal somewhere, is there a filter on the drain you could check this is secure and free from debris, is it possible that the drain hose has been kinked during a spin and possibly leaked? if it only leaks when it drains it is defenatley somewhere in the drain system. I would use your Insurance on this one Top loaders can be difficult to work with as the space inside them is very limited.

Replacing a drain hose

If you remove the steel left side panel you can see that the drain hose only extends a short way into the machine. Where the hose enters the pan is a white clip that has a small square hole this clip can either be removed by pushing on it from the inside or prying the small square hole with a screwdriver. the drain hose is held in place by a black triangular clip on the plastic drain loop simply pull the clip off and slide the drain hose down then pull it out from the back of the machine.

Dishes not getting clean

Yes I had the same problem and just fixed it for $7.00. Did not even had to take anything apart. This is what you will have to do. If this dosen't work then try what these experts are suggesting. Please follow these steps for optimal results. #1 Break off a plastic Tea spoon. #2 Put it in place of a LATCH to by pass so you can watch the operation of the dishwasher.(put down some towels for water spill) #3 start the dishwasher on normal cycle. #4 Pour in Gallon of White Vinegar($2.00) while the Dishwasher is being filled. #5 Let it run through its cycle. After the cycle is complete water will drain out and then actual cleaning cycle will start. Then #6 while the dishwasher is being filled again pour in 48 OZ or bigger bottle of CLR (Calciam Lime Rust) it is available at Meijer, walmart, Rite Aid, Home Depot Ace Menard's etc. for $5.00. sit by the dishwasher and listen for it. if you hear water draining pull and push the water plunger so it won't drain so you don't loose your CLR down the drain. since you have the spoon in the LATCH your dishwasher will always be on so BE CAREFUL when you stick your hand in it. And after the cycle is complete enjoy your NEW DISHWASHER.

No draining

Following a cycle, a small pool of clean water inside the tub is typical. Excessive water means the pump isn't pumping water out properly, the drain hose isn't carrying it to the drain pipe, or the house's drain lines are backed up. If dirty water spews from the air gap, the drain line is kinked or clogged. Note: If you've recently installed a garbage disposal, be sure the knockout plug for the dishwasher was removed when the connection was made (see your disposal instructions). 1) Remove the cover from the air gap at the top of the sink (usually a short chrome domed cylinder that sits at the back of the sink) and, using a wire, clean it. Also check the entire length of the drain hose for kinks and blockages, especially at the drain connection to the disposer or drain line. 2) Once the dishwasher is cool, shut off the power to it, and--if your dishwasher is made to allow this-- remove the strainer, located under the bottom spray arm at the base of the cabinet (see illustration). Unscrew the hubcap, lift the spray arm off, and remove any clips that hold the strainer to get it out. Scrub it clean with a brush, then replace it. 3) Determine whether the sink trap or house drain line is clogged. 4) If it still doesn't drain properly, the drain hose may be clogged or the drain valve may need replacement. At this point, it's usually best to call a repairperson. You can check the drain hose for obstructions, but this sometimes involves pulling the dishwasher out from under your counter to access the hose, disconnecting the hose at both ends, and flushing it out with a faucet or garden hose.
