When the CMOS battery is replaced the default Bios settings are retained, if u made any custom changes to Bios then u will need to do them again, things like boot menu processor speed settings ect. are you clear on this, 99% of time it changes nothing since most users don't even know what Bios is or how to alter it.

Just after that there was NO correct answer to fix this problem causes the problem not solved even if it is marked as solved. Me too I have this problem, I was fix it by setting jumpers to default 60 Hz AC power because I won`t have 50Hz AC power or some AC power converter before PSU, I mean this is voltage errors, it`s need to be set to default +5V(60Hz) PSU not +5VSB(50Hz) PSU, (Step1) like might be set to USBPW12 to pin 3 both USB to right side inserted jumper it`s in left side of, near ATX 12v advanced CPU power cable connection socket. Next (step 2) is set up front USB jumpers to +5V or system won`t start up, it`s on motherboard about between PCI1 and PCI2 on right side it must be set to USBPW56 and don`t set it to USBPW78(5+VBS) because system won`t start up, the jumper must be set to right side I mean it`s last jumpers to right side need to be set up, because it`s +5V(60Hz) PSU supply. The USB wake-up feature requires a power supply that can provide at least 500mA on the +5VSB lead when these jumpers are set to +5VSB otherwise the system won`t power up. Next step if it still not starts up its BIOS fault, it`s easy to repair, just (Step3) turn off PC remove BIOS battery (it`s down to IDE cables), start it up wait a bit, then turn it off and turn it again on wait a bit again, turn it off place BIOS battery in to socket to be able save BIOS settings i mean battery is need to save them otherwise settings won`t be saved and Chassis will be broken. (Step 4) Turn PC on press del key after BIOS is load in open Power\Hardware monitoring\Chassis Intruder set to Disable, save settings exit. (Step5) If BIOS (PC won`t power up) it`s Chassis1 jumper fault, it`s need set to Default (Chassis signal, and GND(Ground)), it`s between SATA 2 and SATA1(Serial ATA connectors 7-pin it`s near and down to BIOS battery, the jumpers might be set to right side, after it`s completed repeat Step3 and Step4. CMOS is BIOS battery. If that all doesn't works Take BIOS clearing jumper in it`s clear state, near BIOS chip. Turn on PC with CMOS clear jumper turned on its work. Take beck jumper in its default state after that take bios chip out and CMOS battery out both them an two times restart PC after insert all beck if PC will be working all keyboard flashes once, after its in AC power.

How to fix when system ask to press F1 to start all the time.

It means that the BIOS settings are no longer saved. Replace the battery on the motherboard and if it's the same then the BIOS chip is dead - that means that the motherboard is dead, time for a new one.

I have an intel g41 motherboard....every time i switchon d pc...it shows check cmos error and the time and date are set to defaluts

This error occurs when the BIOS battery is flat. Replace the BIOS battery, most motherboards use a lithium battery type CR2032, this is a coin size battery. Check the BIOS battery type used on your motherboard before you purchase the battery.
After replacing the battery go to the BIOS setting and set the Date & Time etc. and you will not have this CMOS error.

I have gigabyte gl 81915 motherboard on my cabinet. but some days ago it's display check sum error default loaded so how can i solve it give me solution?

The CMOS checksum error occurs when the CMOS battery is worn out and the CMOS data gets corrupted. Replace the CMOS battery, this battery most likely a CR2032 lithium coin size button battery - check to make sure before you purchase.
After replacing with a new battery, then go to the BIOS configuration and set the Time

We cannot save the bios and can't restart

If you can't save the BIOS settings, then either your BIOS is corrupted or the battery supplying power to your BIOS is dead. The battery looks like a large watch battery on your motherboard. Try replacing that and see if it works then. If not you can either take it to a computer shop to have the BIOS flashed or replace the motherboard.

Advance 10F+ Motherboard battery

The Battery needs to be replaced, However replacing it will reset everything. All of your BIOS Settings, Time ect. However there is a rumor that i have only found to be true on few systems, if it is left plugged in your bios settings will not be lost. but... since your loosing time with it plugged in. Im thinking its gonna loose them no matter what.

Won't boot up

Hello my friend, for the first error it means that you must disable floppy disk from bios.Hit del while you booting and find the option floppy seek in the bios and disable it(usually boot options/advance boot options/settings) ,save and exit and you finished. For the second error you must replace the bios battery. On your motherboard there is one small round battery that keeps bios settings, take it out but first take off your power cord and push the power button for 10 secs so you will remove any electricity for not harming your system.Take the battery to a shop or electrical shop and buy the same/with the same model that is writing on the top.Very easy to find it and cheap too. After you buy this installed exactly as it was. With the letters on top and then plug you power cord and open your computer and make the settings in the bios i told you.Good luck
