Some apps that I delete, always show back up on my iPhone every time I sync it. It gets pretty annoying and I want to manage my apps manually. Follow the steps below! Step 1: Open up your iTunes 11 and plug your iDevice into your computer. Step 2: On the top right of your iTunes screen, click on the name of your device. Step 3: Go to the "Apps" tab and scroll down until you see "Automatically Install New Apps", make sure that it is unchecked. Step 4: If there are any apps that you don't want to show up on your iDevice, click on the "Remove" button right next to them. The button will change to "Will Remove", which means that the app will be removed from your iDevice the next time you sync it. The same thing goes for the "Install" buttons next to the app. Always sync after you choose every app that you either want to remove or install. Step 5: Go onto the "Settings" app on your iDevice. Step 6: Scroll down to "iTunes & App Store" and open it. Step 7: Scroll down until you see the "Automatic Downloads" category and turn off both of the "Apps" and "Updates" sliders. Step 8: Sync your iDevice and you should be able to manage your apps manually

when done press the menu again.
You may have to return your iphone to your store if the mic really does not work. But first try completely turning off your iPhone. Hold down the top button until "slide to power off" comes on... Then slide to off. Once completely off, wait a minute and click the upper right button to turn on again.
Many times "things" don't work because you have too many apps open atone time... So close the apps you are not using. To see what apps that are open, double click the button at the bottom of your screen quickly... Make sure that your first icon page is showing when you do this...By double clicking you will then see at the bottom of the page a single row of all apps that are running... You can then press on the app icon(s) that are open for a second or so.... And "x" will appear. Touch the "x" to turn off the app... NOTE: Make sure that you only do this on the highlighted bottom row...
i would suggest a hard reset. this will turn your iphone or ipod off and back on. to do this hold the sleep/wake button and home button at the same time for about 10 seconds. once it turns back on, try the app again. if this does not work, i would try deleting and then re-downloading the app form the app store.
I have the same situation with some apps. For example, my Rock Band will not open unless I restart my phone. I've downloaded an app called free memory for 99c. It's only to be used if you absolutely need more and it will only work for a short time. This will tell you just how much memory you have and how much you are able to free up.
I don't think it will make much of a difference but, instead of purchacing something from the app store directly, go to Itunes and download it from there, that way you know you're at least getting everything.
If you try rebooting it and it still doesn't work, consider contacting your phone company and seeing what they would do; it could be more in depth than just restarting your phone.
