Press "clock" and hold for a few seconds. It will say the day. If the day is wrong, use the arrow keys to move either forward or backword through the week. When the day is set press "clock" again and you will hear the hour. Press the arrow keys to move the hours. Press again for the minutes and use the arrow keys to set the minutes. Last press "clock" again and set AM or PM. By the way, the manual does not tell you how to set the clock.

Are you in a 'thick' building that may be preventing the phone from getting the date/time set signal? If so, try plugging the phone in as close to a window as possible to eliminate any possible interference.
