Question about Brother CS6000i Computerized Sewing Machine
Computerized sewing machines are not to be oiled.
The lubricant is factory sealed and any additional lubrication is to be done by a sewing machine tech that is certified to work on your particular brand of computerized sewing machines.
The maintenance section of the manual for your machine will indicate how to clean the machine.
Be sure the needle is at it's highest position when removing and replacing the bobbin case.

You should follow the instructions in your owner's manual. From what I can discern, it does NOT appear you should oil anything on your particular machine.
