Are Propane LPG fryers compatible with Butane LpG

Talk to the manufacturer or check your owners manual. The jets in the burner must be slightly smaller for butane. The flame will burn yellow with black soot/smoke if you don't change them.

Flame burning too orange

You need to get a Plumber or Appliance Tech to come out immediately and check the fuel to air ratio. You are not burning your fuel at the proper mixture. A blue flame is good, yellow-orange is bad.

Normally this is because the burner area is dirty or the pressure regulator may be set too high/low. The black marks are a sure sign that your ratio is too rich and it's just going to build up more soot and become unhealthy and dangerous.

How to clean ceramic panels of gas heater

Get It Serviced/investigated.Black soot is a sign of incomplete combustion which in turn leads to carbon monoxide production.Very dangerous. It should burn with a blue sharp flame not orange or yellow. As for cleaning ceramic radiants (i assume that's what they are) they can be cleaned very carefully with a soft brush such as a paint brush or vacuum cleaner.Be aware they are extremely delicate and once broken cannot be just stuck together but need replacing.

Black smoke coming out of flue and two burners burn yellow flames while the other burns blue some fumes

First.. the burner tubes need to be cleanes...sounds like a few have soot build up. Messy job...do outside with a hose. Check the burner orifice size to make sure they are all the same.

Black soot on Coleman propane burner

Had same problem. Coleman tech support said, " clean with pipe cleaners". No directions....I would think they would provide a step by step protocol. So, I chose to take the knobs off and use the pipe cleaner where I could. I was able to take one of the two burner control knobs apart. After sticking the clean in every nook I could find, I put back together, and the flame on that burner is back to normal,

My Dyna GLo kerosene heater has excessive smoke and yellow flame

I'm wondering the same
Should a duraheat, etc., cylindrical convetion heater's flame be bright yellow, blue , or what? With the old wick the flame was blue, with the catalytic converter glowing red hot. Now with the new wick, I can't even see the CC, because the flame burns a bright yellow. Also I have to really fine tune it now. A wee bit too high, I get smoke and soot. A wee bit too low, same...smoke and possibly flame out.
