Unable to install software

I have been trying to install the driver and software for HP Deskjet F300 All-in-One series on my pc using windows xp, and has encountered some problems.
The installation goes on normally till it gets to where i am asked o connect my printer to the computer. There, it just stops and does not continue and can stay like that for the rest of the day. I don't know what else i should do. I need your help. Thanks.

I am unable to install microsoft office communicator on my PC, its not showing any error, when i click install, installation will start but after that no response from the installer. what to do? Can you assist me?

which ever make printer you have go on there web site and find your printer model and install the new drivers for that model. the disc that came with your printer most probably only has older drivers for windows 200 and 2003. first check thier web page first for an uninstall drivers as your computer will not install the new drivers if the old ones are still on it.

it may be your driver is corrupt

try a new driver you can get it from here
