Once this software is installed, double-click on the HP Solutions Center. Try to scan once to find the best settings. Then in the Settings section of the software, you can set the Button destinations. Set the Scan-to button.
Now if the software is monitoring the printer, pressing the scan button will launch the HP Solution Center scan.
Hi I think you will need to run the cd installer again to install the scanner driver on your printer.
You can check if the driver of the scanner was successfully installed once you view on the Scanners & Cameras inside the Control Panel and see the image of your printer scanner. It means it is connected and ready to be used. If you can not see the icon of the printer scanner there, then, it could not be installed or the printer is attached to other pc in the network.
Remember to use the printer as scanner, it should be attached locally to the pc you are using. Pressing the Scan button in the printer will save the scanned documents in the computer as pdf files. In order to save the documents as jpeg files, you must need to use the scan option on the Scanners & Cameras inside the Control Panel.
Hope it helps. Just post back if you still have questions.

This is usually an indication of a failure in the scan amplifier sections. When the scan amplifiers or high voltage sections fail, the main power supply will usually also require servicing.
It is very common that the fly-back and high voltage multiplier and also the horizontal output stage fails in these sets. Along with it, the power supply will usually require to be serviced. On rare occasions, the vertical deflection amp fails.

Dish Netork does not have the code for Olevia but you can scan for the code using the infformation here Remote Code Power Scan
If your brand is not listed, use the following procedure to scan through all codes.
If you start the and do not press a button within 20 seconds, the remote will end the scan automatically.
1. Turn ON the unit you want to program the remote to control. 2. Press the Mode button on the remote until the appropriate mode light is flashes 3. Press the Address button. The mode light will start flashing slowly. 4. Press the Power button. The mode light will stop flashing and stay lit. 5. Press the Up or Down arrow button to set the remote to the next code. The Down arrow button scans backward and the Up arrow button scans forward. 6. When the correct code is reached, the device (whether a TV, VCR, or other) will turn off. 7. Press the Address button to store the code in the remote control memory. If the code is valid for your remote, the mode light will blink 3 times. 8. Turn the device back ON by pressing the Power button. 9. Try some other functions to make sure you have the correct code. Occasionally the Power button may work when others do not. 10. If the other buttons work, follow the current settings procedure below to determine the current remote settings. 11. If the other buttons do not work, repeat the previous steps. The scan will resume from the last code stored. 12. The mode light will flash rapidly when the scan has returned to the starting point and all codes have been tested for that mode. The remote control may not control some device models.
'Twain' only means 'Technology without an important name', as this is refering to your printer/scanner, i would suggest that you disconnect the printer and remove any driver from Add/Remove programmes.
Re-install printer software/driver and re connect printer when prompted and if possible in a different usb port, if that's how it's connected.
If the problem persists and the pc is unable to communicate with the printer the fault will lie with the hardware.
Hope it's only a driver glitch.
