HI dsf_org. It's very rare the on/off button doesnt work, but then again computers are unpredictable. What I would do is remove the keyboard (i think it's one piece) and make sure it's tighly connected on the motherboard. Some laptops (mac as well) the power button is going thru the keyboard and not by itself. You have to take it to a repair shop if you are not confortable opening laptops because it's very tricky and you can damage it. If you find that the on/off button is connected to the MB it means that something on the motherboard is bad. It doesnt matter if it has power (meaning the battery charges). I hope this helps. Please dont forget to rate and provide positive feedback for our free support today. Thank you :D

The RAM may not be working.
Try removing the RAM module/s and and cleaning the gold contacts with methylated spirits then replace the RAM module/s. If the computer still does not boot, then remove the RAM module/s and take them to your friendly computer repair shop and get them to test your RAM.

CMOS battery failure

This is a very easy and money saving tip for all, whenever your PC on starting shows CMOS battery failure it means nothing so complicate has stopped working just a button cell has lost its charged and needs to be replaced because if don't do so there will be lots of problem such as if you open a mail lets say Google it wont open because CMOS battery stores Time details and if it has stopped working time will be wrong and Google mail wont work so the solution is to just open your PC and you will see a small button like cell which you can remove easily and can be changed.
Hope this tip will help you in your problem.

CMOS Battery do no work

Just change your CMOS battery with a new one and after that goto the bios settings and update the time and dare.
After that just save the settings and then check that the warning message is coming or not.

If its coming then it means you need to change the CMOS jumper settings.
