Question about Swann Communications OutdoorCam Security Camera
Only seeing bright lite
It sounds like there is a light in the field of view of your camera. If so, the camera is adjusting to the brightest source of light it sees in the picture and the result is that everything else in the picture is washing out. Try repositioning the camera so that the light is behind the camera. If that is not possible or relocating the camera is impractical, then aim the camera so that the light is not directly within the field of view of the camera. This should improve the picture quality. Also, you don't mention the name or model of the camera manufacturer. There are cameras that are designed for and are more suitable for nightime vision. This may be an option if you are not able to get the desired result from your current camera. Hope this helps.
