Why do i have a false jam reading?

I understand that you're receiving what you believe to be a 'false' paper jam on your HP Photosmart C6280 All-in-One Printer. I would like to work with you today with resolving this issue. Paper jams can be real or false. The product might report a paper jam even when there is no jammed paper. A false paper jam may also be the result of having a bad paper jam at a point in time and that bad jam causing a hardware issue to the paper sensor or rollers. I am going to provide you with some additional troubleshooting steps that apply to both real and false paper jams. You did state that you already checked the paper pathway inside the printer and failed to find any evidence of paper being stuck, but please run the step-by-step troubleshooting below, even if you have already run some of the steps.

Here are the steps for clearing the path:

I have a jam on my printer that says there is a print carriage access jam how do i solve it

I have the same problem.... trying to use lubricants and done some cleaning, but no luck... till i found out that using an extension cord with several devices plugged in will lessen the amount of current that flows to the devices.. that's why the printer's motor can't able to do his job because of no enough power.... Connect the printer's plug directly to the wall...

it works for me....
