Connection to 192.168.1.1

Go into your UBUNTU netwrok settings and make sure the wireless is sending the correct Security and is set to the proper security mode. Unlike the wired connection most wireless connections are protected and require the computer that connects to send the correct key.

1. Make sure you have a telephone cable connected the jack labelled "LINE" on your brother machine.
Go through the Menu on the LCD, Initial setup, dial tone, choose the correct dial tone PULSE or TONE.
Exit from the menu.
Pick up the handset on the fax machine, and dial your nuber to make a phone call. (To send a fax, dial the number without lifting the handset.)

Go to My computer -> Tools (at the top) -> Internet Options -> connections -> Click on LAN-settings -> Disable any checks there.
check it should be fixed now.

If still same, Try this:
Click All Programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt
At the prompt type: ipconfig /flushdns
You should get a message that says:
Windows IP Configuration
Successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache.

I noticed that the router i bought is a modem router and only needed an adsl line. I cannot connect the router to my broadband connection because i already have a modem from my ISP. So, i'll have to sell the router and buy a wired router without modem for me to successfully complete the installation and configuration.

Make sure that all the network connection settings on your new computer are the same as your old computer. Also, does it show you are connected to your network?

hdmi is the least amount of cables you'd need to run, 1 cable for audio & video for each device, assuming they have hdmi outputs on them and you have enough inputs on your tv.

Hi, it is possible that your notebook is set to a high resolution that your projector cannot handle. You may want to try to: 1) run your notebook as is (without connecting to the projector); 2) soon as windows booted up, right click on any clear area of your desktop and click on Properties; 3)Go to the Settings tab; 4) Set the Screen resolution to the lowest possible setting, towards left (less) and the Color quality to the lowest possible. Clilck Ok then reboot. Run once to see everything is OK except your icons are bigger now. Youo can try connecting your projector to see if it works. Hope this be of help to you. Cheers.
