How can i unlock my ipod touch

The easiest way is to reset the iPod with iTunes and re-sync your playlist. An alternative is to jailbreak it if that is the type of unlock you're talking about. Download a jail breaker program for your version of software and good luck.

Go to it's tab in iTunes, and hit the button that says restore. It'll restore it to factory settings, and then you just need to go back through the steps to put your iPod like it was (I.E. syncing and jailbreaking, putting custom settings, etc.)

I have an ipod touch and i my problem is that i cant send music from my computer to my ipod i right click on a song go to send to and click on what says apple ipod cause i have it plugged into my computer...

Have you tried opening Itunes and from your Itunes library, drag and drop the music files going to your Ipod? If it's still the same, you might want to try resetting your Ipod touch.

Soft Reset:
1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on the top of the unit until a red slider appears
2. Drag the slider.
3. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.

If Soft Reset didn't work, you can try to do a Hard Reset:
Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button for about ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

If none of the steps fix the problem, you can try to connect your Ipod touch to another USB slot on your computer and check if the problem persist. You can also try to use a different USB Ipod cable to reconnect your Ipod to the computer.

If none of these work, you can restore your Ipod touch back to it's factory settings. Restoring your Ipod means you will lose all data in the ipod and also gets rid of Jailbreak (if you did Jailbreak it).

You can follow the instructions on how to Restore your Ipod Touch here.

I've found an ipod touch and it says "Ipod is disabled connect to iTunes but since it was originally conencted to my itunes it says to unlock it :'( someone please help !

Lucky! But before you can use it or even sync it with your iTunes, you need to restore it with a little trick that will bypass the passcode-lock that's currently disabling the iPod.

Ipod touch wound sync to my computer. i had a nano first. when i tryed to sync my ipod touch i did not reg. to my computer, i just tryed to copy my music to the new ipod. my daughter shares our music from...

Open iTunes (without iPod connected). Create a new playlist and copy songs you want on your iPod into that list. Next connect your iPod. Once iTunes recognizes your iPod then go to the music tab and click on 'sync playlist only' and chose the new playlist that you created. Click sync. Only the songs in your new playlist should be copied to your iPod.

Can't sync ipod touch

If you haven't already, Uninstall your itunes and download a clean version.
install the clean version of itunes and try your ipod again.
you can get a clean version at

It appears your install is corrupt.
also have you updated your touch recently.
if it is jailbroken you should be able to update it to a newer version.
If your version is to old, it maynot be compatible with the newer versions of itunes.
They are constantly trying to thwart the jailbreak and unlocked ipod and iphones.

Check your version and update to something newer if the re-install of itunes doesn't help.
