Have you checked your sleep timer? I've had that problem before.

Sounds like the unit is victim of a power surge. The power control board is probably damaged. You will be better off replacing the amp as having it repaired will cost more than replacing it.

JVC SP55M HDMI sound quit after power outage

Unplug unit, wait 10 mins then plug back in. If still does not work, check for breaker trip. Be sure outlet still has power.

Power outage overnight. Now, Onkyo TX-SR603X no

Depending upon the type of power outage, you may have more of a confused receiver than a defecive one. Try unplugging the unit for an hour or so to see if that resets the whole thing back to "normal". If not, then further investigation with a scope or logic analyser will be required to determine whether the problem is with the internal CPU or a defect on the data lines. Unless the reset works, this is not likely to be a DYI repair.

I have a TX SR 803 av reciever that keeps losing it's audio. I have to keep reprogramming the audio outputs, sometime this works and sometimes it doesn't. Zone 2 is fine. problem began after a power outage

Try to reset your amp then go to the bottom of the set up menu and you should find lock set up,if this dose not work its repair time for your amp.

hope this helps.

RVD 6090R Stopped working after a very brief power outage.

Hi cleitner . It has most likely blown a mains power fuse. You will need to FIRST DISCONNECT FROM THE POWER. Then remove the lid and check internal fuses. Best done with an ohms meter to be sure that you don't miss any. Some fuses can look ok but be faulty. Replace any blown fuses with one of exactly the same type. If you are not sure what type of fuse you need, feel free to get back to me here. Good Luck, thanks for using FixYa

No Sound

power the unit down totally from the wall socket to allow it to reset. It may have had a processor scramble in the outage and not selecting audio inputs correctly.

Onkyo Forgets it's input settings during power outages

yes there is ,,, it is located on the same board that has 3 fuses on it, you will have to unplug the unit before disassembly, and remove the top cove and bottow covers,,,, you will have to de-solder a small battery pack surrounded by either blue or yellow heat shrink,,, please not the polarity before removal, as putting it in wrong will cause a non- memory retaining situation to continue...I hope this helps
