Does windows pick up the drive? If so right clcik the drive and select eject. Apart from that if theres no pin hole you could try re-installing drivers. Go to device mangaer and right click the dvd drive select uninstall then reboot let it re-install itself and try ejecting again. If the normal button doesnt work though it may be a physical issue.

Im a dell tech, and i hate those cdrom styles, but, that is what the consumer wants, so we make them. Try starting the machine, then press F2 to enter the BIOS. once in the bios, press the eject button. listen for any noises, (an attempt to eject). if you hear a sound, it means the drive should be capable of ejecting the disc, and perhaps the disc has not seated correctly. 1. If the CD/DVD drive tray not open.
Open "My computer" windowsand select the CD drive . "Right click" onthe CD drive.You will get apop up windows with the "Eject" option.
If it open that's means the power supply is ok
2. If the DVD drive is not showing on my computer windows or the DVD is not detect the CD/DVD disk
Tofix the problem we need to delete the UpperFilters andLowerFiltersregistry key for more details about the troubleshootingstep please follow the below link.
No longer access the CD drive or the DVD drive
3. Make sure the cables (IDE,SATA) etc are seated firmly and jumpers are set correctly (slave master...etc).
4. After follow the above steps if you still face the same problem then need to contact the local hardware vendor.

Restart your computer and enter set up bios. Try ejecting your dvd rom from there... it that doesn't work, get a pin and insert it in the pinhole on the dvdrom whuile pressing the eject button... that should do the trick!
