I tried to reset the lamp using procedures on page 45 in the manual, but still got flashing green lights on lamp and power/standy mode. there is no description for that in manual other than warming up... once warm the lamps go solid then they start blinking again and just keep going thru that cycle... then after about 5 minutes they both turn red. And this is with the new bulb! ??

Its a fairly new bulb and i put it in and was watching a movie just fine and then it went off. I thought that the new bulb burned out. It still looked good but when i put it back in all I get flashing green lights on lamp and power/standy mode. Then the lamp go solid then they start blinking again and just keep going thru that cycle... then after about 5 minutes they both turn red.

When You changed the bulb  you have to reset the bulb timer , that why the light is flashing red , look at your manual and reset the timer , and the picture , changed bulbs myself before i found what the problem was ,

Dear Sir, I have a NEC LT 260 K Lcd projector. The lamp of the lcd was busted.I replaced it with a new lamp. After replacing the lamp the lamp is not lighting when projector is put ON, I think the...

the clicking sound hopefully is the high voltage trying to start the lamp, but for some reason there may be a connection problem between the lamp and the projector power supply.
take the lamp out.

look at the lamp and check that the 2 connecting plugs are ok.
then look inside the projector at the power sockets that connect to the lamp (when it's installed).
check that the pins are not damaged or pushed down too far to prevent the lamp plugs making a proper connection with the power sockets in the unit.

Power indicator /red/ and warning led/red/ are lighting after ea 15 sec. a lamp never start and fans goes in OFF mode. I checked power supply lines S5V,S-5V,S16V on the Main Board . I checked unit lamp...

If power indicator light red and warning indicator red flashing than according to user manual :-
The projector has been cooled down enough and the temperature returns to normal. When turning ON the projector the WARNING indicator stops flashing. CHECK AND CLEAN THE AIR FILTER.
Experience:- 1. if the temperature is very low than temperature sensor maybe misbehave.
2. If anyone fan not working
so please you check fans.
(If lamp or lamp ballast unit faulty than after a time period the lamp indicator light ON not a warning indicator. I experience many times if any fan in projector are broken or jamed the temperature light if present otherwise warning light ON or flashing)

Projector was turned off wrong and now wont turn back on.

if the led flashes once in 2-second intervals and you don't hear a high-pitched whir, the colorwheel needs replacing. if you do, the ballast is bad. if it flashes 2 times, the lamp is past 3000 hours. 4 times, fan error. 5 times, temp too high and it needs to cool.

LP 240 stopped working. No lights, no fans, nothing.

Please describe the status of the LED indicator. No LED would indicate a failure of the power supply. I can help you with that.
Flashing red would indicate a fan/lamp problem. Some lamps fail prematurely before the lamp hours are up.
If it is the power supply, no lights at all, I can get you running again. These units have fragile power supplies that can burn out with the slightest power surge. A UPS goes a long way to save future headaches.

Infocus led diagnostic

it might be overheating. clean off the dust filters (bottom towards the front). if there's not enough airflow to cool it down, the projector will shut off to save itself from damage.
