Sounds like the door hinges have gotten loose and let the door drop. With the door open can you move the door up and down? If hinges are tight you should NOT be able to.

Why would frost form in the freezer. French door style Frigidaire

Hey friend, I appreciate your post! Based off the information you have provided your Frigidaire refrigerator is developing frost. I have identified that a few possibilities could be an issue with a water leak or air leak. You could perform the dollar bill test to assure that the gasket is secure around the appliance. Place the bill between the body of the freezer and close the door. Pull the dollar out, if it sticks the seal is good, but if the bill comes out easily the gasket needs to be changed. If the gasket appears to be in good condition I would recommend having a professional come out to diagnose and repair the refrigerator. -Matt

Tip

How to Reverse Your Refrigerator Door (Most units)

1. Remove the toe grille.
2. Remove top hinge cover if available. Trace around the hinge with a soft lead pencil. This makes the re-installation easier. Remove top hinge and lift door off the center hinge pin, and set the door aside.
3. Unscrew the center hinge pin using an adjustable wrench and save for reassembly. Ensure that the plastic washer stays on hinge pin.
4. Lift the refrigerator door off of the bottom hinge and set aside.
5. Remove center hinge and shim by removing inside screw and loosening two outside screws enough to allow hinge and shim to slide out. Tighten screws.
6. Loosen two outside screws on opposite side of refrigerator, remove inside screw and install center hinge.
7. Remove two screws on bottom hinge with 3/8" socket wrench.
8. Install bottom hinge on opposite side with the two screws removed from Step 7.
9. Unscrew the bottom hinge pin using adjustable wrench. Move hinge pin to other hold in hinge and tighten with adjustable wrench.
10. Reverse door handles.
11. Move freezer and refrigerator door stops to opposite side. Before starting screws, use an awl to puncture the foam.
12. Position refrigerator door onto bottom hinge pin and screw center hinge pin through center hinge into the top of the door. Close refrigerator door to help align hinge hole.
13. Tighten center hinge pin with adjustable wrench.
14. Remove cabinet and hinge hold plugs and move to opposite side.
15. Lower freezer door onto center hinge pin (if you have a separate freezer door).
16. Close freezer door. Have an assistant lift up on opposite side of the door while tightening screws to install top hinge.
17. Flip top grille and reinstall.
18. Plug in electrical power cord and turn refrigerator temperature control to center position. Adjust setting as needed.

The light in my refrigerator goes off when I open door

There is a switch, almost like a button, most likely it is out when you close the door as designed, but then you open it, switch is sticking closed. Try messing with it or moving it some. If not might have to just replace the switch. Should be a cheap repair.

The connection with the door and switch on some refrigerators is not good, you need to add something to the door that will increase the connection. A foam tab with a self stick side placed on the part of the door where contact with the switch is made works just fine.

The ice maker on my FRS26ZRF frigidaire continues to run after I release the switch in the door. I have to open the door and it may or may not stop the ice from flowing.

your dispenser is bad it has a control board and it has a little cylinder inside with a rubber piece on it that opens and closes the flap. i would look there first, to see if that lid switch is shutting off. If it sticks it will cause the auger motor to continue.

The doors stick when they close. how do I lube the pullies

Your door rollers are probably worn off.
To access these carefully lift the door off the rail, pull it out bottom first then unhook the string attached to the counter weight from the top part of the door .Tip the door upside down and you should be able to see 2 or 3 rollers spaced on the bottom track (or what is left of it

check the alignment of the doors. their is an adjustment on the top hinge. also the hinges have washers on them that you can adjust the door up and down by moving washers to the hinge under or over the door.
if you already checked this and think it is a different problem then let me know, i will help you figure it out.
