Rice in main unit

Husband poured rice and some liquit into unit without the lining bowl. i've kept it open, after cleaning as best possible, to let damp rice dry. there's still rice in the unit (i can hear it rattle about when the unit's shaken.

first question: is the unit permanently damaged because he poured chicken stock into it?

second: if not permanently damaged how can i remove the rice trapped below the heating base?

thank you very much to whomever replies.

This rice cooker can't be easily get damaged. So I don't think that it's permanently damaged because of the chicken stock.

There are just some components (like capacitors or fuse) that needs to be replaced.

The trapped rice can be heating base (element) cannot be removed from above. It can be remove if you open the bottom portion of the rice cooker, and remove the screws that are holding the heating base from inside of the rice cooker.

However, it may be a bit difficult to remove the heating element. I would suggest to bring the rice cooker into a repair shop, so that the tech can test and replace those damaged components, and clean the internal portion of the rice cooker as well.

Thank you and good luck!

I have one maxwest cellphone it's damaged by water, can it fix it?

Open the phone and remove the battery. Dab all internal surfaces with paper towel to remove as much moister as possible. Then use a hair dryer on medium heat to gently dry the phone completely. Make sure the battery is dry as well. Leave the phone open for a further half hour after drying and then put the battery back in and close the case. Switch on the phone, good luck.

Bike turns on and runs, but won't go over a certain speed without bogging. I cleaned the tank, filter, and put new fuel. Still bogs. Will run 45-50 mph at full throttle.

Try taking the carburetor float bowl off and check to see if anything got in there. I posted you a problem I had with my bike. I turned the throttle and the engine just died. As soon as I let off the throttle the engine would start running again. Found a powdery rust like substance in the nut in the bottom of the bowl. Kept gas from going up the main jet when I cracked open the throttle. My bike is an old Harley but carburetors pretty much work the same way however they may look. Give it a try, you said you tried everything else. You may even be able to take the float bowl off without removing the carburetor from the bike. Let us know if you had any luck.

Hi, I live in negros, occ, sagay, 2 months ago I paid p5000 for install, poor job, it now leaks badly in balay about .5 liter every 5minutes, how do I open to check for clog or drain, now gel air wants...

Unplug the power, open front cover of your indoor unit. check the level of the unit ( drain port should lower a bit then other end of indoor unit ).If level is bad you need to adjust. Clean all drain bowl, use/insert flexible hose to clean drain line. Pour the clean water on drain bowl to see how good your drain line now. If it is OK, plug the power.
It is easy and you don't need call them again.

Need directions on how make rice on my oster rice cooker

There are many types of rice. Follow specific directions for variety used.
2. Accurately measure rice and water then combine in rice bowl.
Pour specified amount of water in water reservoir. Cover and steam.
3. For softer rice, increase by 1 – 2 tablespoons the water mixed with rice
by the specified amount of water on the chart. For firmer rice decrease
water mixed with rice by the same amount.
4. Check doneness and consistency of rice at minimum time specified
for each type, stirring rice at the same time.
5. When checking/stirring rice, be careful not to drip the condensate into the
rice bowl which would reduce the quality and flavor of the steamed rice.
6. Use only clean water in water reservoir
7. Rice may be seasoned with salt, pepper or butter after steaming.

My A-9 Coffee grinder no longer grinds coffee. Have cleaned it and checked it out and nothing. The motor runs but no grounds. Thanks for your help!

This fixes almost all the "beans will not feed or beans will not grind" problems caused by coffee bean dust packed in the burrs. Oily beans cause this problem more fequently.
a. Pour all the beans out the top.
b. Open the settings up all the way and see what else can be poured out. Use your shop vacuum to **** grounds out the spout and backward out the bean bin.
c. Pour in some instant rice and start grinding. Reduce the grind to a small setting like six and then open the settings all the way again. (The grinder will not start at a low setting with the rice in it. If you let it stop, open the settings to about 16 before trying to restart.)
d. Pour out the rice and vacuum out the ground rice.
e. Adjust the grinder to your favorite setting and try a coffee grind. Grind until most of the rice dust is expelled (any remaining trace of rice dust will not affect the flavor of the coffee).

I have a Divina Deluxe and the coffee grinder is moving but it does not appear to be grinding it justs runs until the cycle stops. The machine turns on and gets ready but not grind. I have opened it up and...

Remove brew unit and check the grounds chute from the grinder, if that is clear, then re-insert unit, then when the grinder is grinding adjust to a coarser grind.

Phone fell in the toilet and need method to dry.

Remove the battery, do NOT try and power it on. Get a bowl and pour some rice into it, place the phone in it and let dry for a few days.

If you try and power it on while there is ANY water left inside it, you can short it out and ruin it permanently. This is the best known method, but is not guaranteed to work.

Thank you for choosing Fixya!

Need to take main screen off to clean liquid from underneath

I would advise you not to remove the main screen. They are not made to be removed. My best advice would be to place the phone in a bowl of rice for 24 hours. I have had a similar water damage issue, and the bowl of rice trick fixed her up. DO NOT use a blow dryer for it though whatever you do. Hope i've helped!
