In your packet there should be a set up sheet for the remote when you try to set it up follow the search guide for the remote to search and find the comcast box. Depending on how the search works on that remote it may take some time and you may find more than one setting that will work. Then you have to choose the best one that operates the comcast box the best. Good luck and be patient.
We had this with loss of power and we have Fios so it may be alittle different but try to go to settings on main menu and scroll down to parental controlls and set up a code then click off option this worked for us . Good luck
The polaroid owners who had success finding universal remote code to work, it was a mitsubishi tv code. But there are many polaroid owners where the mitsubishi tvcodes have failed to work. Here is the website for comcast. http://www.comcast.com/remotes/universal.html
comcast sucks and its tech support are a bunch of idiots. the book that comes with the remote is wrong (and for some reason no one in tech support knows this). the remote requires 5 digit codes and all the codes in the book are 4. typing the number 1 in front of any of the codes in the book, for any device and manufacturer, should fix this problem.
