Question about Whirlpool Ultimate Care II LSQ9549L Top Load Washer
I have a GE Washer (model # WWA5669MAL). The pump assembly is squirting water from a hole on the assembly that is located below where the pipe coming from the tub bottom and the drain pipe enters the pump assembly. Should something be there to plug the whole??.
That is supposed to be weep hole. If water is pouring out then that is a sure sign of a worn out old school GE pump. The good news it that is an easy pump to replace. the hardest part is replacing the drive boot from pump to motor. Nothing to it
