The cause of this is Bios Basic input and output systems, when a keyboard or input device beeps or gives a wicked responce this mean there was a fault. Now I have experience with these types of issues with pc based Pos systems, the remedy is unfortunate and that is the motherboard needs to be repaire. Now the cost of this would be unknown due to your are and geographic location and the labor rates, the part however dependson your model and what not.
I would not want to be cought guessing at this type of issue. But it is what it is just need to tell you straight up. I would bring it to a local tech to handel the issue. there is not fixing this over a free email system.

Ok now I saw how you talked to other experts on here I am kinda wondering if you even wanted help. They where helping you solve you issue but it did not work, Thus you want the money you spend back?
Listen I agree with wanting money back if the solution was totally not helpful or it was totally out of line but if an expert was helping and it did not fix the issue then you need local repair. I sure hope you where not expecting someone to fix it over a email system, all they can do for oyu here is tell you what the issue was. So know you bought a new machine and want your money back.

I do not know if you heard about shops black listing folks that brign there units in for repair and not likeing the outcome. What happends is the tech washs his hands of the issue and moves on to the next client. I feel the experts here did WONDERFUL JOB HELPING YOU!
You got a defective logic board and you need repair we cannot see ,touch,feel,smeel the unit but by your description that it does not add/or accept input and beeps while striking the keys this means the unit needs repair!!
Fixya cannot repair this for you it needs a shop/you come here for advice, I trust you got just that. I gave you the email for our billing department I hope they do the right thing!!

I am the wrong person to be asking for a refund further we get over 1.5 million hits per day, The facts are in that you took you machine back for a refund/exchange much like your doing our advice.
You need to voice your concern to the right department and I have given you that email this will be twice [email protected].
I am not a person to be telling that your going to be bad mouthing me or the company. Frankly I was nice to you and basically gave you the info to get your refund. My time here was worth more then what you paid but that is okay.
Again I apologize my fellow experts could not handle your problems, Frankly I feel they did a wonderful job trying. You took the unit back so there is no way we can pick up where they left off.

I am sorry you feel that your issue could have been fixed over a email system most issues can but your issue was complex and it would take some effort on your part to follow through but you took the machine back to the store where you bought it.

Hi! Please try this, unplug the unit from power source and turn the power button on for 15secs. while unplugged. Plug the unit to power source again then turn it on, this should reset the cash register's system. Hope this helps and have a good one!

None of the help you have given me has helped. I have returned the cash register and purchased another machine which is much easier to use. Therefore, please refund the money I paid to FixYa.
I do not agree that your experts did a good job. None of the advice they provided helped me. They did not even help me as much as the owners manual did. I thought I was paying for more help than I could find on my own, but that was not the case. I am not satisfied with the service I received and therefore expect to see a refund. If this does not happen I will voice my dissatisfaction with this site to everyone one I can on line. I understood this was a guarantee for satisfaction. You promised far more than you were able to deliver and this is not right or fair. Please do the right thing and refund my $9.95 so I do not have to fight for my money back. That is not in your best interest.
